California Farmers have their Sights Set on Climate Targets
As part of our partnership with the state, the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and sister agencies provide several incentive programs to encourage climate and planet-smart farming practices. While climate-smart farming practices have many benefits, they also sometimes come with barriers like cost considerations.
State incentive programs play a critical role in assisting our farm families to meet California’s ambitious climate goals.

State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program (SWEEP)
Achieving state targets like carbon neutrality, air quality improvements, and water-use efficiency.
